A Canadian open boat is an excellent way to view the lakes and rivers of the Lake District from another perspective.
Your qualified coach will spend some time teaching you basic paddling skills before setting off. A river trip, where you will encounter faster flowing water, tight turns and deep pools is a very exciting experience but you will also see some wonderful wildlife along the river banks such as kingfishers, heron and no doubt the odd fish or two.
After lunch, the instructor will take you on a short journey across Windermere for a chance to get wet and have some fun. How about rounding the day off with a 20 foot jump into the lake? Fantastic!
A small fee for boat hire is required but all other equipment is provided.
