






Joe has been freelancing for over ten years and has extensive knowledge of the mountain ranges around the world. He has guided expeditions to Kilimanjaro, The north Col of Everest, Aconcagua and Mongolia. He is a Mountain instructor (MIA) as well as a CIC, (Cave Instructor Certificate) the highest level of Caving qualification, and Mountain bike leader.
His main passion is for caving, although he has been shown the light recently (no pun intended) and now spends all his hard earned cash on his mountain bike.




Chris is the founder of Mountain Adventure and has been involved in the outdoors professionally for the last ten years. In that time he has spent a number of years as an instructor for Outward Bound but now coaches and guides for Mountain Adventure. He is a full member of The British Association of International Mountain Leaders (BAIML). He is also a Winter and Summer Mountain leader, (SMBLA) Mountain Bike Tutor , a climbing instructor (SPA) and a Canoe coach (BCU). He has climbed and mountain biked in the mountains in many countries including Borneo, Belize, Spain, France and Nepal and led expeditions to Everest base camp and Kinabalu. His passion is for mountain biking and can regularly be seen blazing down a trail in the Lake District.


Stuart is an International Mountain leader as well as a Mountain bike leader and kayak/canoe coach. He has a wealth of knowledge of trekking in the mountainous regions around the world and has mountain biked across Iceland. He is a veteran adventure racer and has completed 18 KIMM's.But we think he has a body double.!


Liam Scott is a teacher of Outdoor Education at the Lakes School in Ambleside, he holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Outdoor Education and is a summer and winter mountain leader, Level 2 canoe coach, Mountain bike leader and tutor, Climbing instructor and a regular contributor to ‘What mountain Bike’ magazine. Oh yeah, and he’s a good bloke.
